As far as we recognize, Cyberpunk 2077 is part of an orchestrated marketing deal with Microsoft for the Xbox line of systems. So it did not come as a surprise when the agreement fruited a new collaboration for another exclusive series. During last Thursday’s The Game Awards, Playground Games presented that the iconic 2058 Quadra Turbo-R V-TECH vehicle from Cyberpunk 2077 will be in Forza Horizon 4.
The new addition will be a freebie for all users starting on December 11 – the day following the initial announcement. So it came to be a bigger surprise when a separate partnership was unveiled across the platform gulch on PlayStation’s side of things. In that, a new collaboration has been established for Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding.
The deal reveals to administer the ‘Reverse Trike vehicle’, Johnny Silverhand’s robotic arm for Sam, new Samurai & Atlas Trauma Team holograms, and a selection of in-game cosmetics. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
One thing worth noting is that this free update for Death Stranding is only unique to the PC version of Death Stranding. So fans on PlayStation consoles are withheld from reaping the new loot for the recently-released title. But it is suspected that console owners can anticipated an update to be patched in which welcomes the items in the coming future.
However, the Death Stranding faces flack for the new collaboration according to Metacritic. The PC version is currently being review bombed due to forming a tie with Cyberpunk 2077, as relayed by @mrpyo1 on Twitter.
Deep into the madness of the current state for Cyberpunk 2077, Sony Interactive Entertainment took it into their own hands. The PlayStation company just this Thursday issued that the game be removed from the PlayStation Store completely “until further notice”. You can read the full report by heading here.
