Nintendo has officially revealed the Switch 2 and all of its capabilities. The 4K console can run up to 120FPS while in docked mode or even in handheld mode at 1080P. To conclude the show, they revealed a brand-new 3D Donkey Kong game while everyone was expecting a new 3D Mario title.
Donkey Kong Bananza will come to the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 17, 2025. The official price for the game will be $69.99. It is $10 cheaper than Mario Kart World, which was showcased at the start of the show.
Here is a brief description of Donkey Kong Bananza via Nintendo’s trailer:
Explore a vast underground world—by smashing your way through it! Bash, throw, and climb through just about anything in DK’s brand-new 3D platforming action-adventure game!
This is also the first time we are seeing the new look of Donkey Kong in a big game like this. We did receive Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, but it didn’t feature the new art style for DK.
