E3 2019: Wasteland 3 Brings The Wastes To Snowy Colorado

Since InXile Entertainment’s acquisition from Microsoft back in November last year, fans were skeptical when exactly Wasteland 3 would release or if the purchase would affect the title releasing as planned by the developer. But just this afternoon at this year’s Microsoft press conference the anticipated third installment has finally been announced.

In the trailer, the upcoming title brings players to the colder reaches of Colorado following the bombings that happened more than a century before. Arizona is left in the fate of the Patriarch of Colorado and the only way to save it is to travel to the mid-western state to take down ‘the three blood thirsty children’ to receive aid in the desert state’s losing battle.

You will be able to explore the literal nuclear winter of Colorado and embrace the new factions & settlers to create your own squad which can be customized with to change up each character’s playstyle. Perks such as leadership, Kiss Ass, and Hard Ass are some of the dozen that players will have the ability to either form relationships or create hardships in the Colorado Mountains.

Closing out the announcement, it was revealed that Wasteland 3 will be available for Xbox Game Pass when the title launches in the coming future which has no set release date.

Wasteland 3 will be available for Xbox One and PC.
