
The last and only time we witnessed the return of Electronic Arts-published titles for Steam was back in November with the arrival of Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The publisher disclosed at the time that the action-adventure title would stand as the first wave with many other fan favorite entries from the firm to be releasing on the storefront later on in the coming future.
However, with a nearly six month wait for the next wave, Electronic Arts returns strong as the publisher returns with a literal bulk of titles that will be added to the Valve-owned marketplace immediately. Here is the full lineup of new titles now out on Steam from EA:
- Burnout Paradise Remastered
- Crysis 3
- Dragon Age II
- Dragon Age: Inquisition
- Fe
- Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
- Need for Speed
- Need for Speed Heat
- Need for Speed Rivals
- Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
- Sea of Solitude
- Unravel
- Unravel Two
“We want to make it easy to play the games you love, wherever you want to play. Delivering games to the Steam community is an important step in achieving this goal,” Electronic Arts Senior Vice President Mike Blank shares on the circumstance. Adding, Blanks reveals that the currently established EA Access for consoles and Origin will also be making its debut for Steam as well later this summer; presuming more titles already in the vault will be added to even the odds on competing systems.
In the press release, Electronic Arts also tells that Command & Conquer Remastered will also be launching today on Steam as well which will also segue to release for other series entries on the platform. The firm in particular mentioning Command & conquer: Tiberian Dawn and Command & Conquer: Red Dawn along with its released expansions.
Previously, dataminers uncovered a weapon charm in an update for Apex Legends resembling potato GLaDOS from Portal 2 which insinuates that battle royale is on its way to Steam fairly soon with unique cosmetics. You can read the full report by heading here.
