Of course, with a new year already here and half of it already behind us, new details on the next entry for the annual installments from Electronic Arts’ EA Sports is due soon. In mid June, the video game publisher announced Madden NFL 22. Alike its announcement with last year’s Madden NFL 2021, the game for this year goes in a different direction offering two cover athletes: Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Quarterback Tom Brady & Kansas City Chiefs’ Quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Last year, the headlining title at the time did draw some confusion with the approaching release for next-generation titles. This also spilling into FIFA 21 as well, players that owned the disc version of either game could not upgrade to the next-generation version regardless of platform family. And it is anticipated that a similar outcome will be found for the 2022 title as well.
You can watch the reveal trailer for Madden NFL 22 in the video below:
“Last year, we had more players than ever in Madden and we’re looking forward to bringing a new experience in Madden NFL 22 that will be more emotional, authentic, and realistic with Dynamic Gameday improving gameplay across the game,” Seann Graddy, Executive Producer of Madden NFL 22 told in the press release.
“We’re always collecting feedback from our players to improve Madden NFL with each edition and in real time with our live service during the year. We’ll continue that approach this year, including doubling down on our commitment to Franchise, maintaining the momentum we started in Madden NFL 21,by delivering more of the top-requested Franchise features both at launch and throughout the season.”
In other EA Sports news recently, Electronic Arts has now paved a release window for EA Sports PGA Tour. In that, the first gold title on the way since 2015 is said to ship sometime in 2022. You can read the full report by heading here.
