Despite the extremely rocky launch of Fallout 76 back in 2018, the game has truly shaped up in
comparison of its initial form. Back in 2022, Bethesda Game Studios shared the project already
has a five-year plan for the ongoing Fallout experience as the title still has plenty of more
content to release. Last year, The Pitt made its debut for Fallout 76 as players return to the
post-war city of Pittsburgh.
Additionally, Fallout 76 is to continue exploring the east coast as of its latest announcement at
the most recent Xbox Games Showcase in June. In that, Atlantic City is the newest location to
explore as this new exposition treads into New Jersey for the first time. At the time of the
announcement, it was not clarified if the expedition would be safe releasing this year with it
labeled ‘coming soon’.
During the Tokyo Game Show presentation from Xbox, Bethesda Game Studios made an
appearance sharing Fallout 76’s Atlantic City is to officially arrive this December 5th. You can
view the segment of the show in the video below:
“Since we announced Atlantic City at the Xbox Showcase last June, we’ve upped the ante with so
much great content that we’re splitting it into two releases. Atlantic City has stacked the deck
with new content including new locations, new factions, new creatures, new missions, and new
rewards. Plus, a flush casino where our Wastelanders can test their luck,” art director Jonathan
Rush shares.
Atlantic City is also touted to be a major addition that the content is to be released in two parts.
And to better the transition of new content, Rush went on to share that Steam users can sample
the new gameplay next month. An official Public Test Server is said to go live on October 3rd in
the approaching weeks.
