Since this April of last year, many users on PlayStation 4 experienced one of the largest reinvigorated releases to date: Final Fantasy VII Remake. Nominated for several annual awards in 2020, the game is to continue with a next-generation upgrade for PlayStation 5, Intergrade. Not only that, but there will also be a titular chapter for players to experience outside of the base plot which released originally.

However, this is not the start for more added content to come to the game, as clarified by Tetsuya Nomura. While this is a new storyline stripped of the main experience, he elaborates that the addition was justified due in part to a new version for the latest console. Noted, Final Fantasy VII Remake just ran out its exclusive ties to PlayStation 4 last month – so fans are looking to what new systems it will come to next.

And in tow for the announcement, the latest trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade reveals that the release will be a six month exclusive for PlayStation 5. You can watch the final trailer for the game in the video below:

“Available on PS5 at least is months earlier than any other format,” the disclaimer reads at the end of the trailer. In retrospect, it is anticipated that the game is to arrive to PC fairly soon as per Square Enix last year. In a thank you video to the fans supporting its release, the publisher shared rendered footage for Final Fantasy VII Remake on PC.

If an announcement were to be made, this E3 would be the possibility for at least Final Fantasy VII Remake. While Intergrade will not fulfill its contractual exclusivity to Sony Interactive Entertainment this summer, it is expected to be absent. Recently, Square Enix confirmed its attendance for E3 2021 on Thursday.

However, many anticipate a potential Xbox version to be announced. In that, a separate report encourages at least six more games from Square Enix to arrive to Xbox Game Pass in the coming months. And while the firm has yet to fulfill that claim yet, there is still room for the game to be unveiled for the monthly service. Same is then suspected for Intergrade by extension.
