Xbox is having success with its games on PlayStation 5 as of late. Forza Horizon 5 seems to be benefiting the most as of late and it has sold almost 2 million copies on the platform already.
According to Alinea Analytics, Forza Horizon 5 was the second-best-selling game by PlayStation 5 copies sold in April at 837K, trailing Minecraft. It had sold more than Assassin’s Creed Shadows, FC 25, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
With how much Forza Horizon 5 has already sold on PlayStation 5, it likely sold more copies overall on the platform than Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The outlet also shared that Forza Horizon 5 is the fastest-selling Xbox game ever on PlayStation so far. It’s even doing better than Sea of Thieves, which had great success on the platform.
More Xbox Games Coming To PS5
More Xbox games are coming to PlayStation 5. Microsoft has made it official that Gears of War: Reloaded will come to the platform on August 26. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is also coming to PS5 this Summer.
There have been rumblings of Halo eventually coming to the Switch 2 and PS5, but it’s hard to tell when that will be announced. It’s clear that Xbox games are having success when they become available on other platforms, and that’s exactly what Microsoft wants.
