Earlier this year, Microsoft made surprising moves bringing what was Xbox console exclusive titles to other platforms like PlayStation 5. They brought Hi-Fi Rush, Grounded, and Sea of Thieves to PS5 for the first time. There were rumors of even more games coming to PlayStation 5 including Starfield, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, and Forza Horizon 5.
Microsoft hasn’t halted any plans to bring more games to PlayStation 5, it seems. According to reliable leaker, eXtas1stv, Forza Horizon 5 has already been ported to PS5, but it was delayed and not cancelled. Apparently, it was ready as of Summer 2024, but it was delayed for an unknown reason.
Forza Horizon 5 is a game that is arguably one of the most successful titles Microsoft has released since the Xbox Series X was released. It’s a game they believe can do very well on PS5. This Summer, Forza Horizon 5 reached 40 million Xbox players and since that time the number has grown.
