News has come out regarding Microsoft’s plans for Gamescom this year that reveals a few new games that’ll be playable. Insider Gaming is reporting that Forza Motorsport, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl and Towerborne will be playable at this years Gamescom event. The outlet shares they expect to hear more more details on each of the games during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live.

Opening Night Live at Gamescom is known to have announcements from the industry and it’s quite possible we’ll see S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 details. The development on S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 has gone through some trouble including a couple delays along the way. This would be excellent news if it’s true that attendees can get their hands on the long anticipated title.

Seeing Forza Motorsport being playable at Gamescom 2023 is no surprise. Towerborne was recently announced in June and is planned to ship in 2024 for Xbox One, Xbox Series XlS and PC. With Starfield coming out on September 6, it’ll be interesting to see if the game will be available to play at Gamescom.

Gamescom 2023 takes place from August 23-27
