French Retailer Posts Listing For Batman Arkham Collection Arrival This August For Nintendo Switch

In the past year, Rocksteady Games has shifted its DC Comics focus from the Caped Crusader to the Suicide Squad with its plans to release a four character experience later on in 2022. Since the original reveal, it was discovered that the team would be working with Unreal Engine 4 despite the close release of Unreal Engine 5 hitting the market. Additionally, we also grasped the cover art for the new game which continues to grow anticipation for the new release.

Most exciting is the gameplay trailer for the game which release back in December. At The Game Awards, Rocksteady Studios finally revealed the first official look at genuine gameplay for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and it delivered. Prior to this new project, the team did deliver a full Batman Arkham trilogy with Batman Arkham Collection previously.

Now it appears the same game is not done just yet. According to French retailer World Trade & Technologies (WTT), the release is listed for Nintendo Switch. Even more is the game is also slated to arrive later this year in the summer. In August to be more specific. The only instance of a Batman Arkham game releasing for Nintendo hardware is Batman Arkham City for the Wii U.

Regarding the timing of the discovery, it is likely we could see the game’s reveal this Wednesday during the scheduled Nintendo Direct this week. However, there is not much additional context to suggest what other plans are also to take place during the presentation Nintendo has scheduled. All there is to go by is the 40+ minutes planned to showcase the future for Nintendo Switch releases.

Do you see yourself playing any of the Batman Arkham titles on Nintendo Switch.
