From developer Rocksteady Studios, the team since its development hiatus has remained silent on what is next for the developer well until summer 2020 after batman Arkham Knight shipped in 2015. Then, the English game studio unveiled Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. In it, you can choose between four characters in total: Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark.
It was later on that despite the game shipping beyond the release date of Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 consoles that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be made using Unreal Engine 4 instead of the upcoming Unreal Engine 5 suite on the way. In anticipation for DC Fandome next month, there is plenty to expect from the livestreamed event then. For certain, more gameplay from both Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Gotham Knights respectively. Even more, release dates are also presumed to be shared for the two games as both are projected to ship in 2022 next year.
More specifically for Gotham Knights, Warner Bros. Montreal announced previously that it will not be making its promised 2021 launch window for the project. But from the initial timeframe made, it could be early 2022 the soonest to see when Gotham Knights will ship. You can read the full report by heading here.
