In the ongoing service that is PlayStation Plus, the subscription is transitioning to its new tier-based program in specific regions. So far, both Asia alongside Japan has already welcomed the new service including the Extra & Premium tiers that welcomed the first element of wide-range backwards compatibility on the platform.
More interesting about that is the new service also goes on to feature trophies for certain legacy titles as well. At the time of the discovery, developer Bend Studio stated Syphon Filter will be one game to introduce this with other first-party games presumed to do also. As for the regular PlayStation Plus with its free games, that does not change much. In May, the service featured FIFA 22, Tribes of Midgard, and Curse Of The Dead Gods then.
Now for June later on in the coming days, a new trio of games are to be introduced. Starting on June 7th will welcome God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Those that yet to install the May 2022 free PlayStation Plus games still have a window to do so by June 6th.
Noted, there is all but one game that is featured for a PlayStation 5 version. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is that game whilst God of War and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker only headline with native versions for PlayStation 4. For the sake for God of War, this makes sense due to the PlayStation Plus Collection: an anthology of games you get on PlayStation 5 for being an active subscriber.
Of the most recent release being Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, we suggest you read our review for the game. “Those looking for a fun experience will likely find it here, but it may be short lived if you aren’t into the game competitively.” You can read the full piece by heading here.
