Just earlier today, Google went live with the first of many Stadia Connects which detailed some of the longing questions about their upcoming stream-only service. First and foremost, Google revealed that the hardware-free platform will be dropping later this November with no specific date as of yet.

For how much Stadia will cost, Google explained that Stadia will be free at no cost, but, there are different bundles that players who think about switching over could pay a monthly fee for or even a yearly amount based on their preference. Those who decide to use Stadia at no cost will be limited to the service by playing all compatible titles at a locked 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second.

That will categorize users into a Stadia Base account, which users can sign-up for with no out of pocket fee to use the service. But for those who prefer to access higher resolution outputs and smoother gameplay will have to pay into a Stadia Pro account which can go in two ways: paying a monthly $9.99 subscription or paying towards the Founder’s Edition which is currently available for pre-order at $129.99.

What exactly the Founder’s Edition is offers not only Stadia Pro, but also pairs the owner with a Google Chromecast Ultra, limited edition night blue controller, three months of Pro subscription for yourself and a friend. As for the Stadia Pro account, it will unlock graphical & performance outputs to 4K/60 fps, HDR, and 5.1 surround sound: Pro accounts will have access to Stadia in November whilst Base accounts will have to wait sometime in 2020 to sign-up for the free ride.

One exclusive piece that owners of either the Founder’s Edition or standard Stadia Pro subscription will receive Destiny 2 for free when Stadia launches in November which will offer all current expansions and the upcoming Shadowkeep content for no extra charge. Stadia Pro also offers unique sales to those who pay as similar to what we already have with Xbox Live and PlayStation Plus deals.

Already speaking about games, Google revealed a bevy of different titles that are set to release for the platform later this Fall. During the presentation, Google revealed three titles: Coatsink Get Packed, Larian Studios Baldur’s Gate 3, and Tequila Works Gylt. Of the three, Tequila Work’s title is currently the on game that will be exclusive to the streaming platform.
