It looks like Google will soon be adding support for both the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons and Pro Controller in the Chrome web browser. Why was this made? Because Google are making their own video game streaming service which uses the Chrome browser and they would like to support as many controllers as possible. Don’t be surprised to see Xbox One and PlayStation 4 controllers supported as well for it.

The patent for the Google gaming controller was found not too long ago, and a rumor of Sega partnering with the company for possibly their unannounced console. As time goes on we should expect to hear more about Google’s plans with their video game service.

Castle Crashers was teased for the Nintendo Switch from The Behemoth on Twitter.
