Rockstar Games officially revealed Grand Theft Auto 6 on Monday through its first trailer and the game looks to be a treat. The developer put out a press release giving more information about the game and its launch window. The release window for Grand Theft Auto 6 is 2025 with the expectation from many people that it could be Spring 2025.
One of the interesting parts of the press release issued by Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games was the platforms GTA 6 will come to:
Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), is proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto VI is coming to PlayStation 5 computer entertainment systems and Xbox Series X|S games and entertainment systems in 2025.
Grand Theft Auto 6 will come to Xbox Serie XlS and PlayStation 5, but a PC release is not mentioned yet. It’s not a surprise to see this because they do this with most of their games just like GTA V back in 2013 when it only came to Xbox 360 and PS3 initially.
“Grand Theft Auto VI continues our efforts to push the limits of what’s possible in highly immersive, story-driven open-world experiences,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We’re thrilled to be able to share this new vision with players everywhere.”
Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.
