Grounded had its full release on September 27 and the game already has grown to over 15 million players. Obsidians latest title is available on Xbox Series XlS, Windows 10/11 PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) and Steam.

Obsidian also announced a special Grounded update for the holiday season. Titled A Holiday Treat, this latest update includes new quality of life gameplay features and content to help streamline the experience as you explore the backyard including additional player inventory space, the ability to ascend in addition to descend ZIP.R lines, and new base decorations including a holiday tree.

Grounded has been around in Early Access for 2 years where it came out in July of 2020. The community has stuck around with the game all this time and it continues to grow into 2023. In February, Grounded broke the 10 million player milestone

It goes to show that even though a game is in its Early Access stage it can still be successful. Are you excited about the future of Grounded?
