Halloween-themed Monster Within Event Announced For Apex Legends

Although Season 10 for Apex Legends was delivered nearly three months ago, developer Respawn Entertainment appeared to be fairly distant on what new content will be coming to the ongoing title following. It was not until September that the Evolution Collection Event dropped that the firm welcomed a new Town Takeover for Rampart alongside some new game changes.

Additionally, the game studio to start off October introduced the new ‘Apex Chronicle’ series which emphasizes on lore for its characters. The first to kick off the inauguration of the mode is ‘Old Ways, New Dawn’ which focuses on the story behind Bloodhound. Alongside the calendar inching closer to Halloween once more, it is expected another event is to take place come later on this month as well.

In a new announcement made on Thursday, the new event for this fall holiday is to introduce the Monster Within Event. This is said to go live from October 12th to November 2nd.You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

Of course, Shadow Royale is making a comeback for the second year in a row now with a slew of frightening cosmetics for players to obtain. There is also three weeks of reward tracks to earn new items alongside the additional Dia de Los Muertos sale and Monster Within Bundles up for purchase.

Bundled with the update when it drops next week will also feature a new Arenas map, Encore. “Encore is located on Seer’s home planet, Boreas, and is one of the main arenas where he has been seen fighting. Seer’s most ardent fans would often cluster to watch him duel there. This map is open and offers strong environmental awareness. Good teamwork and strategy are key if you want to succeed in this arena.
