From news this week at Gamescom Opening Night Live, one of the largest boulders pushed happened to be the release date for Halo Infinite. While fans were certainly hoping for a release date aimed for November 15 – as indicated from a slip by a voice actor for the game and backed by speculation fueled by the series’ official anniversary – it is now landing on December 8th, 343 Industries reveals. But, it came with more than just that.
In that, Halo Infinite is receiving a specialized Xbox Series X console coming this November. In that, the Special Edition will include a themed controller alongside a decorated console infused with some galactic designs that complement the theme for Halo. Even more, there is another accessory that fans might want to keep their eyes open for. In that, a separate controller inspired by the game is on the way.

This week is not the first time we witnessed a themed controller arriving this November. In fact, developer Playground Games unveiled that Forza Horizon 5 is to offer its own Xbox Series |S controller later this fall when the titular game arrives on November 9th.
