The most recent entry in Hitman is Hitman 3. In our review for the game, we wrote: “This streamlining and carrying forward of the previous games is fantastic. Looking ahead, developer IO Interactive continues to support the series on the secondarily as its new focus is a new ambition working on Project 007. While the firm did go on to ship Hitman: World of Assassinations, the backing for the series did officially hit a wall. In that, the firm confirmed it is to put Hitman on ice with the opening of a new studios as total focus shifts to its new James Bond project.
But in a new announcement from Feral Interactive, Hitman: Blood Money returns with a new ‘Reprisal’ version aimed to release for Nintendo Switch & mobile. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:
“Reprisal is a comprehensive reworking of the stealth-action classic, refined for screens large and small — with a new Minimap, Instinct Mode, and gameplay improvements inspired by later games in the series.,” Feral Interactive writes in the announcement post.
“Hitman: Blood Money — Reprisal’s modernisations make it a great fit for all three platforms, and both mobile editions come equipped with a fully customizable touchscreen interface, as well as controller and keyboard & mouse support.”
