Now just today, the developer is back with some more revealing details regarding Season One for Modern Warfare: simply with an image of what will be arriving on December 3rd when the update fully commences next month.

Diving right into what will be dropping into the current first-person shooter, firstly, there will be three classic Call of Duty 4 maps that will be making their way into the series’ reboot: Crash, Shipment, and Vacant. The trio of locations will also mark the first returning slew of maps to be added to Modern Warfare as well. An additional Ground War map dubbed ‘Port” will also be making its way next Tuesday.
Moving onto the smaller dishes, Infinity Ward shares that both Cargo and Atrium will be the next two gunfight maps to be added to the 2v2 game mode. The team also teases that the duo of maps “and more” are also planned to arrive when Season One is available in the coming week. Two new game modes are also presented to be coming next week with Reinforce which looks to be another iteration of domination/capture the flag and Gunfight OSP that also twists the fundamentals of the curret 2v2 game type. Modern Warfare 3’s Infenction is also said to debut for Modern Warfare also.
Special Ops will be receiving roughly four new content additions: Bomb Squad, Grounded, pitch Black, and Just Reward. The same “and more” treatment has also been painted onto Special Ops implying that more missions are scheduled to arrive following this coming Tuesday. Finally, the RAM-7 and Holger-26 will be the fresh loadout options for players to experiment with.
