Jim Carrey is open to coming back for another Sonic movie

Sonc the Hedgehog 3 has been in theaters for three weeks now and it has been leading the box office almost every weekend across North America. The film has received outstanding reviews claiming it is the best movie in the trilogy. Those who watched the movie might question the return of Jim Carrey and of course, since he rarely does more than two movies. 

In an interview with Japanese news site, Cinema Today, Jim Carrey stated that he is open to coming back for Sonic Movie 4 and that he will not be retiring, but “power napping” between projects. The video can be seen on X (Twitter) via Sonic Stadium.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Confirmed

Paramount Pictures has already confirmed they are in the early stages of planning Sonic the Hedgehog 4. The fourth Sonic movie is expected to be released in Spring 2027. Those who watched the post-credit scenes will have an idea of what to expect in the next movie. 

Hopefully, the script will impress Jim Carrey to appear as Dr. Eggman in Sonic the Hedgehog 4.
