The man responsible for curating the most prolific persona portrayed by Keanu Reeves John Wick has announced that he will be delving deeper into creating more entertainment surrounding video game properties. Writer Derek Kolstad disclosed in an interview recently that he will be pursuing two new games to receive their own unique adaptations for television.
When speaking with Comicbook, Kolstad revealed that he’s interested in engaging in a series for both Kindly Beast’s Bendy and the Ink Machine as well as DeadToast Entertainment’s My Friend Pedro. But as of reporting, these two projects are still in the air as they have yet been decided to be taken into production.
I’m going out with a pitch for a television series based on the My Friend Pedro video game, as well as for Bendy and the Ink Machine. I am playing any… It’s funny, the reason I’m answering it this way, literally, I have these Post-It notes on my computer of, ‘This is what I’m working on today.
While Kolstad is eager to create a television show for both games, there is no further detail to spare on his envisions. Aspects like casting or expectation for production has yet to be shared.
Going on earlier with Kolstad’s continued approach for video game-inspired entertainment, it was report in May of last year that Kolstad will also be pursuing a Just Cause film adaptation as well. But unlike the situation regarding the two TV pitches, the motion picture based on the Avalanche Studios’ IP is already becoming a reality as we speak.

What do you think should be included for these two television series if they come to fruition?
