News broke out Friday evening that Joseph Staten who is most known on his work with the Halo franchise is officially leaving Microsoft. This comes a few months after he left 343 Industries and went to re-join Microsoft Publishing.

Originally the news was reported by IGN and later confirmed from a tweet by Staten.

We don’t know what’s next for Joseph Staten, but we can only assume it will most likely be involved with games. Could he be re-joining Bungie to work on Destiny or other future projects? That remains to be seen.

Not only did Staten work on the Halo franchise, he worked on others including 2017 release ReCore.
