Last Of Us Part II Director Teases Progress On Game With Final Scene Shot

For the current line of PlayStation 4 exclusive titles, more anticipated titles such as The Last of Us Part II is currently still in the middle of its development process for the long awaited sequel to 2013’s Game of The Year, The Last of Us. While not much has been revealed on when exactly we will see the title on store shelves, the game’s Director did tease with an update on the title’s progress.

Game Director Neil Druckmann on Twitter tweeted an image reading the end of the game’s script with the caption “Just shot this scene… so…”

For what this exactly means if either the actors have finished motion capture for the game is unclear: but nonetheless, it does reveal some insight that progress is being made on the upcoming title. Although it doesn’t give a confirming date for when we could expect the title to launch like some rumors have urged, we do know now that Naughty Dog is one step closer to reaching the end of the game’s development.

Recently it was found through the released specs for Sony’s forthcoming platform that Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding could possibly land a cross-gen release for both the current and new PlayStation. And seeing how the status for Last of Us 2 is at as of now, there is a good chance we might see the same happen for the game as well.

Last of Us 2 currently does not have a release date, but is listed for PlayStation 4 as of writing this.
