Latest Marvel’s Avengers Livestream Introduces Antagonist Modok And Features Co-Op Gameplay

About a month ago, developer Crystal dynamics announced that its coming project Marvel’s Avengers would receive a dedicated livestream to feature some new features that will be included in the full game which releases later this fall. With the game being pushed to this coming September from its initial May launch date, this would definitely help ease the wait for the excited fans who continuously follow the game’s development.

And now the day has arrived with a new trailer featuring a new villain and also a full-length demo of more gameplay can also be found as well. For the story-related trailer, Crystal Dynamics unveils that Modok will be one of the larger antagonists of the core plot who essentially aims to dismantle the Avengers and pit our favorite heroes against one another.

The more enticing part about the latter demo is that the developer goes on to showcase some co-op gameplay for the title. Since the game’s announcement over a year ago, neither Crystal Dynamics nor publisher Square Enix has featured an in-game look at the cooperative experience for Marvel’s Avengers – only stated that the gameplay element would be in the full game.

Elsewhere in a previous announcement, Square Enix disclosed that Marvel’s Avengers would be shipping to next-generation consoles at launch for both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
