It looks that the latest installment of RGG Studio’s Yakuza might be the shortest in length to be unique to PlayStation 4. Although the game has already released for the console back in January, the game has shown to be one of the most successful entries in history for the franchise. However, it looks that the PlayStation Store is not the last stop for the game.

According to a recent tweet made by @RobotBrush on Twitter, Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon is listed on Steam at the time of the post being made. But now as of writing – the game has been delisted. Thankfully, the user posted the images that were on the page which you can view in the tweet below:

While the retracted listing does practically confirm a PC version is on the way, the information gathered does not share much on the matters of when the game will even come. It should be noted that the game has still yet to receive a western release, so perhaps this entails that the announcement is just on the horizon? That is only supported due to the fact that the headers shared is translated in English.

What also raises the question on this discovery is why the seventh installment? Currently, there is only Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2. So why would Sega/RGG Studio release the latest installment prior to the gap of entries that have yet to be released on the storefront? There are plenty of questions that fans would like to be answered on the situation.

Even more, this also presses the possibility for Xbox as well: Yakuza Kiwami just launched on Microsoft’s platform just weeks prior and Kiwami 2 on the way, is there room to speculate Like a Dragon could hit the Xbox Store later on? Only time will tell on what comes for the future of the newest release.

Are you planning on getting Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon on PlayStation or PC?

Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon is currently available for PlayStation 4 in Japan.
