Mario vs. Donkey Kong Announced, Launches February 2024 For Nintendo Switch

In 2023, it truly has proven to be the year for Super Mario. Earlier this spring, the featured film hit theaters and breaking more than $1 billion in the global box office. But, that is not all on the horizon for the Nintendo franchise. In fact, there is a plentiful count of games coming. This October, Super Mario Bros. Wonder hits the Nintendo Switch.

And that’s not all, Nintendo also revealed November is to feature Super Mario RPG as well with the return of fan-favorite character Geno. It doesn’t end there though. Both Luigi & Princess Peach are also receiving some spotlight. Both characters are receiving respective titles next year; the green sidekick is welcoming Luigi’s Mansion 2: Dark Moon.

On Thursday, Nintendo shared the beloved Nintendo Game Boy Advanced series Mario vs. Donkey Kong is returning with a new Nintendo Switch version. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

“The rivalry that heated up on the Game Boy Advance system reignites in this updated version of the game. With his eyes on the prize, Donkey Kong has stolen all the Mini-Mario toys from the factory and it’s up to Mario to rescue them! In this updated version of the game, you can play with a friend in local co-op,” the trailer’s YOuTube description reads.

Upon reliving other nostalgic Nintendo titles, F-Zero is making a comeback later today. It was revealed at the same Nintendo Direct that F-Zero 99 is coming to Nintendo Switch Online. You can read the full report by heading here.
