Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls Arrives January 10

The wait is over for Marvel Rivals’ first season as NetEase Games revealed what is coming to the hero shooter. Fans can expect to see new maps, special events, game modes, and a new Battle Pass with Season 1: Eternal Night Falls when it arrives on January 10, 2025.

Marvel Rivals Season 1 will introduce the Fantastic Four as playable heroes. Each season will be divided into two halves. For Eternal Night Falls, Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic will be released in the first half, followed by Human Torch and The Thing will come in the second half. 

Three New Maps Are Coming To Marvel Rivals

Three new maps will be added during Season 1. Sanctum Sanctorum, Midtown, and Central Park which will come in the second half of the season. 

Players will also see an all-new Battle Pass, which will feature twice the content that the Season 0 pass offered. The Eternal Night Fall Battle Pass will be priced at 990 Lattice and will feature 10 costumes.

As announced by NetEase, players haven’t finished the Season 0 Battle Pass they can still work on it once it is over. 

Marvel Rivals Doom Match Game Mode

Season 1 of Marvel Rivals will introduce an exciting new game mode called Doom Match. In this mode, between 8 to 12 players will compete on a single map, with each player representing a different faction, all of which are hostile to one another. Players earn points by knocking out their opponents, and at the end of the match, the top 50% of players will be considered the winners by default.

Marvel Rivals is available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
