Insomniac Games closed the PlayStation Showcase on May 24 after a news filled show that had brand new game announcements, updates and more. The most anticipated game prior to the show starting was Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 which Insomniac has been working on.
The gameplay features Spider-Men, Peter Parker and Miles Morales and it’s their goal to try to stop Kraven’s Hunters. The gameplay shown was about 11 minutes long and it reveals that Spider-Man 2 will be releasing exclusively to PlayStation 5 this Fall.
Insomniac Games and Sony didn’t reveal much other details besides the fact Spider-Man 2 is coming out Autumn 2023, but we should expect to see official pricing and an actual release date in the coming weeks or even months.
Spider-Man 2 will be a single-player only game when it comes out as that’s no surprise.
