Last hearing from developer Respawn Entertainment on the Oculus exclusive Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond was back in August of this year where the Titanfall developer offered a new trailer for the game. Despite many of the complications that the team and other studios surely faced this year, the team did relay that the game is still set to ship this year – more specifically in holiday 2020.
Now in a new trailer for the virtual reality experience, Respawn Entertainment offers a new Gallery Trailer for Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond. Alike with the first Medal of Honor game that released in 1999, the newest entry returning to the roots of the franchise will return the mode allowing users to reflect on the impact of the second World War.

“Medal of Honor has always celebrated the everyday people who did extraordinary things in the face of overwhelming odds, and Above and Beyond continues that tradition in new and unique ways,” the description for the trailer reads. Using interviews and 360° footage, the team captured powerful first-hand stories from combat veterans and survivors of the war, using state-of-the-art technology to preserve their stories for future generations.
“The process of capturing these stories was an enormous undertaking, spanning years and continents See how it all came together, and get a glimpse of what’s in store when the game releases on December 11.” Of course, the firm also presses that the title will be readied for release in the second week of December.
Developer Respawn Entertainment has been busy these past few weeks. Most recently, the studio just launched Season 7 for Apex Legends which includes the latest Legend Horizon, map titled “Olympus’, and the Trident hover vehicle. You can read the full announcement by heading here.
