Microsoft Announces Xbox & Bethesda 2022 Showcase Set For June 12th

Upon established events coming later this year on behalf of Microsoft, the firm is preparing this year’s annual QuakeCon. Yes, since Bethesda/id Software is a subsidiary of the Xbox division, it is now considered a Microsoft event technically. The yearly show will once again be held exclusively online later this August. But, the firm did press 2023 will reopen its in-person events come next summer.

Additionally, rumor has it that the Xbox company is preparing to host its own event once more for 2022. This comes following the fallout of 2022’s E3 as it is reported to be off the table entirely this year. The claim for the Xbox showcase is said to be taking place in June sometime later on at the start of the summer.

Now in a new announcement over on Xbox Wire, the hinted event is officially underway. Alike 2021, this showcase will be a conjoined feature presenting Xbox Game Studios & Bethesda projects under one banner.

As for what is to fuel this show will be a combination of first-party releases and the expected slew of titles projected to hit Xbox Game Pass in a familiar manner.

Among the most anticipated, it is likely we will witness Starfield gameplay alongside more information on Redfall as well. Noted, 2021’s Deathloop is due to release for Xbox this year as well since the game did honor its marketing arrangement with Sony Interactive Entertainment.
