Now entering the month of August, the annual Gamescom show in Cologne, Germany is close to commencing. However, unlike prior years thanks to the global pandemic, organizers GAME & Koelnmesse revealed that the event will be held in-person once again. Additionally, the Geoff Keighley-hosted Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation will also be held to attendees as well.

Looking ahead as to what the showcase will feature this month, some of the most prevalent firms and publishers will be attending. Companies like THQ Nordic for instance among other influences will be attending the show. And as you might expect, Xbox announced the same for itself this week. But, do not expect much in terms of new reveals then according to its blog post.

In that, the Xbox firm listed first-party titles Pentiment, Grounded, Age of Empires IV, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Sea of Thieves to be present. But updates on anticipated titles nor the live-service Halo Infinite will be absent.

We’re really looking forward to being back on the show floor, bringing our passionate fans together again in person to celebrate what’s ahead at Xbox. At gamescom 2022, whether attending the show or watching the Xbox Booth @ gamescom Live Stream from home, fans in Europe and around the world can expect a little more insight into some of our previously announced games coming to Xbox in the next 12 months.

That including A Plague Tale: Requiem, Disney Dreamlight, Gunfire Reborn, Inkulinati, Last Case, Lies of P, Lightyear Frontier, Planet of Lana, You Suck at Parking. Microsoft also confirms that the venue will also feature a Xbox TV station to sample Xbox Cloud Gaming on a Samsung display.

Moreover, this new booth is said to provide Xbox Accessibility Controllers upon request. “Xbox remains committed to the belief that gaming should be safe, inclusive, and accessible for all.
