The long awaited Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has been confirmed to be the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise. Activision confirmed on Monday that Modern Warfare III will be developed by Sledgehammer Games. The announcement video also teases the return of Makarov in Modern Warfare.
Modern Warfare III is releasing on November 10, 2023 for Xbox Series XlS, Xbox One PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
The next Call of Duty had been leaked all year long and this is the first time Activision officially confirmed the name and release date. Modern Warfare III is reported to have Campaign Early Access on November 2, 2023.
