Activision revealed more information of what’s to come in Modern Warfare III earlier this week from the Gameplay Reveal Trailer, what to expect from multiplayer maps, and the all new Zombies mode. The publisher announced that Treyarch developed the Modern Warfare Zombies mode which is a first for the Modern Warfare universe.

Modern Warfare Zombies tells an unearthly Dark Aether story set in the Modern Warfare universe with missions, core Zombie features and secrets to discover.

Players will experience an open world PvE extraction survival experience where classic Zombie features combine with new mechanics. You’ll face off against some of the largest enemies in Call of Duty history. You’ll also be able to team up with other squads to survive and fight massive hordes of Zombies in the largest map for the mode ever made.

Gameplay of this new Zombies mode for Modern Warfare III has yet to be shared, but it could be at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 22, 2023.

Modern Warfare III releases November 10, 2023 on Xbox Series XlS, PlayStation 5 and PC.
