Mortal Kombat Movie Scheduled To Release April 16, 2021, Warner Bros. Announces

While there are namely films and other productions that attempt to encapture the likeness of the Mortal Kombat video game franchise for the entertainment industry, there has yet to be an adaptation that parallels with the brutality and sheer violence that the series is most recognized for. Including the dynamic of its characters and settings, many fans are still awaiting for the proper movie to release.

And for now, that looks to be just on the horizon. At least, from what is said about the film. According to the film’s screenwriter Greg Russo, the coming film will feature bloody fatalities and embrace it R-rating when it arrives to the box office. But only given that and the casting that will be starred in the motion picture, there is still not approximate release.

Prior, it was told that the movie is set to arrive sometime in 2021. But now in a new post shared by Warner Bros. & New Line Cinema, Mortal Kombat is set to hit theaters in mid April 2021.

The firms unveil the release date for the film with a new image of the movie’s poster. But while it is nice for something tangible to look at, there is still little to be impressed on the film’s behalf. However, now knowing when the movie is coming, it is suspected that were are very close to seeing a trailer for the Mortal Kombat film as we enter 2021.

Additionally, Warner Bros. in a recent announcement disclosed that Mortal Kombat will not be unique to the theaters when it arrives. Instead, viewers will have the ability to choose on visiting the theater or watching from home on HBO Max later next year. You can read the full report by heading here.
