MultiVersus has a variety of currencies in the game and it might feel overwhelming when you first jump onto the game. The Gleamium currency helps unlock the Battle Pass and other cosmetic rewards. The other is Fighter Currency and this will help you unlock new fighters in the game since not all of them are unlocked for players.

Fighter Currency is one of the in-game currencies in MultiVersus that allows you to unlock new playable fighters. Its symbol is a green triangle and is displayed on top of the UI next to Gleamium
What is the purpose of Fighter Currency?
Players use Fighter Currency in MultiVersus to get new characters to play with throughout the game. You’ll need to earn a certain amount of this currency to unlock new characters.
How do you earn Fighter Currency?
There are multiple ways to earn Fighter Currency in MultiVersus.
Rifts Mode
In MultiVersus there is the Rifts mode. it’s the single-player mode featured in the game. All fighters have their own path through these Rifts, and by completing these with each character you’ll earn some Fighter Currency.
Battle Pass
There is the Battle Pass in MultiVersus that will earn you great cosmetic rewards and even some more Fighter Currency to spend. Every Season Battle Pass will feature this currency and others, but it likely won’t be enough to get more than one character.
Missions
MultiVersus features in-game Missions that give rewards and sometimes they’ll have Fighter Currency to give if you complete these challenges.
Events
Just like Gleamium, you will earn Fighter Currency through seasonal events in MultiVersus. It will depend on the event on how much you earn.
Character & Account Mastery
Each fighter in MultiVersus has their mastery track and when you level up each fighter you’ll earn rewards that will give you more Fighter Currency. Your Account will have a mastery track as well that will give rewards for reaching certain levels which will help you get more in-game currency.
There are multiple ways to get this form of currency in MultiVersus and if you play long enough you’ll have every fighter unlocked in no time. It may also be referred to as “Character Currency”.
