It looks that Amazon UK is a hot spot for up and coming remasters that are shipping to newer consoles, that being Nintendo Switch especially. It was uncovered earlier today that Nintendo’s 2011 entry The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was listed for the hybrid handheld console. Now, another game has been uncovered recently for the system.
Shared on ResetEra, user Raigor shared a screenshot from Amazon UK which discloses that Criterion Games’ Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is receiving a remastered version for new consoles. The listing offers that both Nintendo Switch alongside Xbox One will be receiving the reworked game. It is presumed PlayStation and PC will also expect respected versions as well.
The posting being offered by publisher Electronic Arts, it also discloses that the game is expecting a release date slated for November 13th. Howbeit, further details on the alleged project unfortunately ends there for excited fans looking to learn more.
“Need for Speed Hot Pursuit launches you into a new open-world landscape behind the wheel of the world’s fastest and most beautiful cars,” the synopsis for the game reads on its Steam page. “From Criterion, the award-winning studio behind the Burnout series, Hot Pursuit will redefine racing games for a whole new generation. You’ll experience stunning speeds, takedowns, and getaways as you battle your friends in the most connected Need for Speed game ever.”
Earlier in February, it was revealed that developer Criterion Games will be inheriting the rights to further create new Need for Speed entries. So it is presumed that the original team is working on the reworking of its 2010 released game. The team is also reported to be helming the next Need for Speed installment, the team disclosed back in June. You can read the full report by heading here.
What do you hope to relive most from the supposed Hot Pursuit remaster?
