When reverting back to this past June’s PlayStation 5 showcase, one of the most engaging announcement came from Polyphony Digital with the debut of Gran Turismo 7. The title alike previous offers detailed circuit racing with generation-defining visuals which has become a give for majority of the titles in the last couple of years.

The title while not given a definite release date was suggested by many to possibly be a launch release for the PlayStation 5. However, while Sony Interactive Entertainment nor Polyphony Digital did not directly offer that suspicion, followers conjured the idea on their behalf. But now according to a recent finding online, it seems the chances of a launch release looks to be seeping into the launch window territory.

According to GTPlanet, a dedicated Gran Turismo domain, the webpage shared to discover that Gran Turismo 7 will be releasing in 2021. The uncovering was submitted by ElieTheStig on the GTPlanet forums who found an advertisement listing the game to arrive next year. See it for yourself in the image below:

The advertisement appears in anticipation for the approaching PlayStation 5 release scheduled for November 12. While the system is still launching globally on November 19, the advertisements are beginning to roll out now. Upon featured titles unique to PlayStation 5, Gran Turismo 7 is one that gets the spotlight in which Sony leaves a small disclaimer on the thumbnail for the title.

“Sortie prévue pour la première moitié de 2021,” the text reads which translated by GTPlanet reads “release planned for the first half of 2021.” So gathered from the wording, expect Gran Turismo 7 to release sometime in Q121 at the latest, if not sooner. This is the second first-party PlayStation 5 release to be suggested for a release window launch following behind Insomniac Games’ Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.
