Last month alone for the still developing new decade kicked off pretty strong as Nintendo hosted not one, but two first-party presentations in January alone. First with Pokémon disclosing the upcoming arrival of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX alongside the duo expansions that will be arriving to Pokémon Sword & Shield later this year. Atop of that, Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai held a livestream introducing Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ protagonist Byleth to the game’s roster.
Leading to February this month, industry insiders have foretold of two potential Nintendo Directs expected to arrive. As of yet, there has been no announcement, until this week that is. Nintendo announced on Twitter this week to be hosting a specialized Direct for Animal crossing this coming Thursday.
Observing the timing of the two claimed Directs that are cited to be arriving in February, one of the two were suspected to be focused on the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Horizons. As for the second many anticipate to be the next generalized Nintendo Direct to disclose the upcoming new software for 2020.
Regarding this week’s approaching Animal Crossing Direct, expect to learn more about how the game will function and some of the smaller details as for where you will be placed for the new experience. And for the burning-hearted fans patiently waiting, let’s hope Froggy Chair makes a cameo just ahead of the game’s release next month.
