nintendo direct

This past January came and went leaving Nintendo fans excited and also confused as to what the company has scheduled for the coming year. Typically, the company would host a general Nintendo Direct live presentation to disclose the coming months of new projects that will be arriving to the Nintendo platform. Well, Nintendo actually did do that, but this was through specific showings regarding Pokémon and then for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

And now entering the second month of 2020, surely the company should have a livestream slated for later this month we assume. Now according to a statement from known leaker @New_SabiWabi on Twitter, Nintendo does have something in mind. The firm actually has two for February.

This week, the poster discussed about future plans that Nintendo has yet to reveal for later this year, where Sabi tells that there are two according to another leaker, Zippo. While they clarify to not have validated the claim, they reassure that this is most certainly correct.

Alike Sabi themself, they ensure that word from Zippo is to be resourceful when it comes to credibility. Stating to be very active with the other leaker, Sabi is convinced that there will be two later in the month. Even more, they also disclose that March later on will also be met with an Indie World livestream too.

So although we were expecting one from Nintendo, the company is now planning to release two Directs this month. Looking at the timing of Nintendo’s release schedule – while one is expected to be a standard Direct showing, the other most likely aligns to be on for Animal Crossing: New Horizons as the game will arrive next month.

Adding some conjecture to this seeping leak, a fair guess at what will be revealed in the upcoming Nintendo Direct points toward the two unannounced Wii U ports that are reported to be launching in the first half of the year. Branching to a claim made from November of last year, the two culprits looks to be Pikmin 3 and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD. For a sturdier foundation, Sabi also disclosed to be aware of this claim by confirming some of the other contents that were shared last year.

What do you hope to see at these upcoming Nintendo Directs?
