Last year fans of Toby fox’s Undertale game were taken by surprise that the creator released a new title, and that it wasn’t a direct sequel to his 2015 title either. At Nintendo’s latest Direct, it was revealed that Deltarune Chapter 1 will be coming to Nintendo Switch later this month.
Amid the announcement for the game’s arrival on Nintendo’s handheld/console, the title will also be coming to Sony’s PlayStation 4 as well. Deltarune, at least for Chapter 1, will be free when becoming available on both platforms and future chapters following will have to be purchased at an undetermined price.
(By the way, a PS4 port is on its way, too…!)

Toby Fox released a statement back in November that despite his excitement to work on a new title, he is currently unsure when the remaining chapters will be releasing or when the current project will be completed. Previously stating to be looking for a team to work on the new title, it will be sometime until Fox is certain for the next chapter of Deltarune.
Deltarune Chapter 1 will be available for Nintendo Switch on February 28, 2019 and PlayStation 4 later sometime in the near future.
