Nintendo Switch Online Features Fighter’s History, Kirby’s Avalanche, And Daiva Story 6: Imperial of Nirsartia In July 2022 Update

Over the past month, Nintendo Switch Online has remained active in terms of new additions to the service. In late June, users discovered that Pokémon Snap will be coming to the service for those subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack for the Nintendo 64 virtual library. But, July doubles down for those users.

In that, the Sega Genesis virtual console tied to that tier offered up four more titles then: Comix Zone, MEGA MAN: THE WILY WARS, Target Earth, and Zero Wing. However, it does not end there. Once more via the Nintendo 64 virtual console, users were revealed the addition of Pokémon Puzzle League later on in the month.

Now well into the latter half of July, Nintendo returns with new additions to the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) virtual libraries. This time three new games are featured. You can read the full list below:

Although the $49.99 subscription tier has remained in the spotlight for over a month, it was not too long before since the last update for the base tier. In late May, the NES & SNES virtual libraries included Congo’s Caper, Rival Turf!, and Pinball for its respective platforms at the time. Now the roster grows three more titles with this week’s addition.

Elsewhere recently, Nintendo revealed its next major acquisition: Dynamo Pictures. Currently, it is not understood the intentions of the purchase will be. But, the arrangement will rename the firm to ‘Nintendo Pictures’ once fulfilled. The implication is the company will stand as part of Nintendo’s position for pursuing new films for its properties.
