For sure, Nintendo Switch has to be one if not the most successful systems to date currently for the video game market. At least it is propped up to be currently against the very popular PlayStation 5, but time will tell. Currently, the system is well over 83 million units sold and is projected to overtake the PlayStation 4 within the coming year. Even more, the Nintendo Switch also went on to exceed lifetime sales of the PlayStation Portable & Game Boy Advanced recently.
But, it appears that Nintendo is planning to offer a blanket reiteration to the system once again. Previously, Bloomberg reported that the Nintendo Switch is to offer a ‘Nintendo Switch Pro’ model which will boost performance and resolution of the current SKU. However, Nintendo already enhanced the base model in the past back in 2019 to extend the battery life previously.
In a new report from Bloomberg, it is now disclosed that Nintendo is to make its move on the market to unveil its new model before E3 next month. More interesting is how other reliable insiders also corroborate the story to be legitimate as well. In that, Eurogamer also heard a similar story from its own sources on the matter.
To solidify things even further, notorious Nintendo insider Emily Rogers on Twitter also appears to support the current claim. In the past, Bloomberg went on to contradict its own story as Nintendo at the beginning of 2021 told that there will not be a new model reveal anytime soon, but now shows to possibly be correct this time with reliable individuals also backing the report.
Rogers most recently happened to be correct on the last go for Nintendo’s Labo line. In that, she stated the cardboard series from Nintendo will find a new route for one last go sometime soon. It was later that Nintendo unveiled Game Builder Garage – which Fanbyte’s Imran Khan told to be codenamed ‘Labo 5’  prior to its announcement. You can read the full announcement  by heading here.
