Believe it or not, but No More Heroes in the past half year or more now continues to roll out on more platforms. Before that, thousands begged for the Grasshopper Manufacturer-developed series to come to Nintendo Switch before the abrupt shadowdrop from the Japanese game studio back in November. Additionally, the first two games also shipped to Amazon’s Luna cloud service as well following.
However, No More Heroes does not exactly stop there. In a new scheduled release for this August, No More Heroes III is officially arriving then. Originally, Grasshopper Manufacturer did aim to release the title back in 2020, but obvious complications that entailed from the COVID-19 epidemic that sprouted all last year led to an unfortunate delay into 2021.
In an surprise announcement on Saturday, Grasshopper Manufacturer and publisher XSEED Games announced No More Heroes & No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle are shipping to PC the following week. You can watch the announcement trailers in the video below:
This is not the first instance a notable Grasshopper Manufacturer/Suda51 creation arrived to PC just out of the blue. For those that might not recall from a few years back in 2018, Killer7 after several teases and hints eventually released on Steam back then.
Noted, this is also another instance of XSEED Games also ushering a Nintendo-oriented title to Steam as well. Most notably being the release of Daemon X Machina for Steam. Previously, the game was eluded to remain unique to the Nintendo Switch until the announcement was made. You can read the full report by heading here.
