Ori and the Blind Forest has been a title fans have wanted on the Nintendo Switch for a while and following the recent leaks of it being revealed are indeed true. During the Indie World direct from Nintendo it was revealed that Ori will be coming to the Switch on September 27th, 2019.
The same “Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition” experience that Xbox and PC players know and love is coming to Nintendo Switch, bringing with it the same stunningly beautiful graphics running at 1080p and 60fps, plus all of the same great features from the original release, including new areas to explore, two additional abilities, more story sequences, multiple difficulty modes, fast travel between areas and much more
It’s worthy to note that the game will run at 720p 60FPS when its in handheld mode on the Switch which is expected.

The next installment in the Ori series will be launching February, 2020 which is titled ‘Ori and the Will of the Wisps’ and will be releases on Xbox One and Windows 10 along with Xbox Game Pass. It remains to be seen if or when Will of the Wisps will be launching on the Switch, but we’d say it’s likely in the future.
“Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition” was a great success for us on Xbox and PC and we are excited to bring the same experience to Nintendo Switch.
