PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds & Street Fighter V Are Scheduled To Be PlayStation Plus’ Free Games For September 2020

Those on PlayStation 4 should already be well-acquainted with this month’s PlayStation Plus free titles: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Campaign and Fall Guys. While the first is surely recognized, the latter happens to be the talk of the town since its debut. And with the game’s popularity while being distributed freely on Sony’s platform, it has lead to impressive sales within its first month.

In that, it was reported that Fall Guys on Steam alone has already surpassed two million units within its first few weeks on the storefront. But alas, all things come to an end as the game will be leaving the PlayStation Plus lineup with September just on the horizon. Users will have until August 31 to install both titles.

As for next month’s roster of games, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Street Fighter V will be the headlining titles for PlayStation Plus’ September titles.

With good timing, Street Fighter V can be playable for all PlayStation 4 Plus users right ahead of the tournaments going live next month. Starting on September 4th, players can enter in-game tournaments to win a dynamic theme, in-game items, and the possibility for a cash prize to the victor of the online competition.

Additionally, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has just entered its eight season. PUBG Corp shares the latest seasonal update to be a reinvigoration of the classic battle royale map Sanhok. You can read the overview for the new season by heading here.
