As we sit just days from the next-generation debut for Sony Interactive Entertainment with the PlayStation 5, the firm prepares potential buyers with a new launch trailer for the game. In that, the video unveils in the fine text that some of the newest entries for the PlayStation exclusive library will be arriving in the early parts of next year. For instance, Housemarque’s Returnal is one of those titles.
Additionally, there are more games that are to be added to that list. Those include Insomniac Games’ Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. The discovery does come as a surprise as the firm does share that the title would come in the launch window for the PlayStation 5. But understandably, the fiscal year does not end until March so that could still be considered the time period of the PlayStation 5’s retail debut.

Alike with Returnal as well as Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart’s release is said to be “anticipated first half 2021”, the subtext for the trailer reads. That is not the only recent news on Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart as Insomniac Games also pressed on the title as the team verified the game’s uniqueness to the PlayStation 5.
In a tweet on Twitter recently, Insomniac Games confirmed Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will only be a PlayStation 5 title. The question comes as part of a sting on inquiries as other anticipated titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales & Horizon: Forbidden West both are releasing for PlayStation 4.
