While this month’s current lineup for PlayStation Plus might have been light on the horrors we might have anticipated for the month hosting Halloween, Sony Interactive Entertainment made sure to double down this time around with the announcement for Koei Tecmo’s Nioh and Red Barrels’ Outlast 2 will be dished for this Thanksgiving season.
Equipped with an arsenal of melee weapons to choose from divided between swords, spears, and even rifles, Nioh is an action adventure set during the Sengoku period of Japan’s history and pits you to battle some of the deadliest creatures of the culture’s folklore. Character upgrades applied to your loadout and armor will be rewarded to you as you progress deeper into the game’s storyline as you embark on this gruesome journey to free the guardian spirit from the Sorcerer.
Secondly with Outlast 2, after a near death experience in a helicopter crash you and your wife are stranded in rural Temple Gate. Swiftly, the inhabiting cult of the region kidnaps your partner and you must venture deep into the sadistic village in search for both your wife and answers to your troubling past that revisits you during this journey.
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that both Nioh and Outlast 2 will be available to download starting November 5th all the way to December 3 the following month. For the active The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19, both are still available for playStation Plus owners to download until December 4th.
Which of the two games are you looking to play first this November?
