It’s official! Sony has officially announced through their PlayStation social media accounts that the PlayStation VR 2 will be launching in early 2023. You can see below PlayStation France making the announcement via Twitter:

Nothing else was revealed yet regarding the Virtual Reality headset, but with Gamescom this week it could be soon. It’s going to be interesting to see how much the PSVR 2 will cost since recently the Meta Quest 2 had to go up $100.00 in price.

Tomorrow is the Gamescom Opening Night Live show hosted by Geoff Keighley and that show looks to be all about games. So it is tough to say if we would get an update on the PSVR 2 at this show.

When do you think the PlayStation VR 2 will launch? January, February, or March?

Stay tuned for more updates.
